About the project

The world around us has changed a lot in recent decades. The old 'chalk and talk' method of teaching has become less efficient. Teaching methods based solely on textbooks no longer work because with insufficient interaction students do not study well. Children are now growing up in a world in undated with digital applications; materials are now also mostly digital. In the age of ICT technologies, digital cameras, smartphones, etc. We need to find more effective methods of teaching and learning. And our schools need to be at the forefront of bringing about changes. We cannot afford to wait for things to change - we must make them happen. Digital storytelling is one tool to help us in this quest. It is an attractive and simple way of expressing emotions, feelings and lived experiences. This technique is a combination of the old storytelling tradition and new technology. Our students' love of technology can be a powerful force in our classrooms. Our students' beloved smartphones can become essential tools for sharing their unique thoughts and experiences with the world. ICT and animation, in this case, is the conduit through which our students can channel their emotions, imagination, and talent, discover their hidden potential and overcome their weaknesses. In particular, the aim is to present the benefits of students' animation activities in a particular digital storytelling with the aim of the students producing a short movie or a cartoon movie. They will create their stories on the topics of culture, diversity, history, traditional folk history, literature, English language, etc. The students will learn how to use the Internet to research rich, deep content while analysing and synthesising a wide range of content and developing communication skills by learning to ask questions, express opinions, and construct narratives. They will also organise the ideas as they learn to create stories for an audience and present their ideas and knowledge in an individual and meaningful way. They will write for an audience and increase their computer skills using software that combines a variety of multimedia: text, still images, audio, video, web publishing, etc
