Pre - Post Activities
C1 - Post Activity:
In this post-activity, teachers had to prepare one didactic digital storytelling with their students. Each country worked on a topic that was congenial to their school's curriculum (Art, economics...) This post activity allowed teachers to improve the use of the web tools they learned in Italy and students to familiarize themselves with these tools. The students prepared a video telling the stories of their cities, towns, neighbourhood they are living in.
Here are the videos students prepared.
- Turkey - Get to know Tekirdag
- Germany - Getting to know Offenburg
- Belgium - Ready to know Grimbergen?
- Estonia - Tallinn
- Italy - Places to visit in Varese
- Portugal -Almada
C2 - Pre Activity: "Who are we?"
The students made a short film about themselves and a typical day at their school, their hometown with the technique of digital storytelling. They took photos, shot videos, collected the necessary material for their work and then created their story using the web tools they learned. With this activity, they learned how to use some of the software programs needed for the project, created their first digital storytelling work on their own (and no longer with the help of the teacher as in the previous activity when they prepared a didactic digital storytelling).
Here are the works of the students before the mobility to Portugal. Enjoy!

C2 - Post Activity: Padlets
Students prepared their Padlets after the mobility in Portugal. They used their photos they took and their videos they shot and their knowledge they got in there. They present us historical and important places they have visited and share their experiences, their reviews in their Padlets as well.
C3 - Pre Activity: "Shoot your video, live your history"
Students were expected to try to shoot a panoramic video of a historical site of their hometown. Making a 360° video was the trend of the moment. It was getting easier and easier to find this kind of footage and the first information on how to shoot it. Also because they were very popular with kids, fun and often go viral. Then at the course, in Germany, the students learned more refined and professional techniques. They learned the basic rules of shooting this type of videos by doing this pre-activity and then in Germany the fundamentals ones. They exchanged their ideas or knowledge with each other. With the help of this activity, they were ready for the coming meeting in Germany.

They used this knowledge in their learning environment. They prepared more useful and efficient videos in their schools. They also learned the history enjoyfully.
As a follow-up activity, they created a new video using their 360 degree cameras again. Their panaromic videos are about a history lesson or a documentary of their schools.

C4 - Pre Activity: "Show me a brand".
In this activity, students prepared a brand digital storytelling, On e-Twinning they uploaded a brand about a well-known company in their country and at the same time became familiar with the brands of the other countries. They also uploaded the logo of that company. They then were asked to conduct a survey about that brand by asking grandparents and parents (two previous generations) how that same company was advertised when they were younger. This survey was also useful to see how their perception of that brand has changed over time. Students were able to use the tools in advanced at this stage of the project.
